In February 2025 the FTC finalized an order against it: $193,000 in monetary relief and a bar on claiming its AI could perform like a human lawyer, after the agency found those claims were never tested or substantiated.
We took the opposite lesson. RenegotiateAnything is not a robot lawyer and never claims to be one. It is a coach: it hands you the cited law, the script, and a dry run — and you make the call. You stay in control, and we never overstate what AI can do.
